At Sicilian NQ, we have always believed that a restaurant can be more than a place to eat.

It can be a space where culture, hospitality, sustainability and compassion meet. This is why we are proud to announce that Sicilian NQ is now an official sponsor of Santuario Sotto la Panca ODV, an animal sanctuary in Sicily dedicated to rescuing and protecting vulnerable animals.

Ethical Hospitality, From Manchester to Sicily

Sicilian NQ was born from a love for Sicily: its food, its stories, its colours and its way of gathering people around a table.

Over the years, our restaurant has evolved into a mostly plant-based and vegetarian Sicilian concept, inspired by the traditional ingredients that have always been at the heart of our island: aubergines, tomatoes, pistachio, citrus, herbs, legumes, olive oil and seasonal vegetables.

Supporting Sotto la Panca is part of this wider vision. For us, sustainability is not only about the environment. It is also about responsibility, animal welfare, ethical food choices and the kind of impact a business can create.

Why Sotto la Panca?

Santuario Sotto la Panca ODV is building a permanent home in Sicily for rescued animals who have experienced abandonment, neglect or exploitation.

By supporting the sanctuary, Sicilian NQ contributes to a project that protects animals while promoting a wider cultural change around compassion, food and responsibility.
